Writing & Editing
I am a published author, with short stories in anthology collections such as Kimberley Stories (2011) and a screenplay in Under the Paving Stones, The Beach (2022), as well as numerous articles and short stories published online, including in the international journal Portside Review (2021). I also write spoken word poetry which I have shared at WA Poets and Cockburn Wetland Centre events. I am interested in exploring themes of trauma, family, love, heritage, history, place, folklore and magic in my storytelling. I am currently writing a historical fiction manuscript inspired by the true colonial history of my family heritage in Perth/Boorloo.
You can see examples of my written work below.
